The Commuter by Levi's®

When a company does their proverbial homework, spends time on research and development, designs a great product, puts together a memorable and unique presentation, it's beautiful to witness...

Levi's new Commuter jean, tailored to the urban cycle enthusiast set (read: Fixie Hipsters), is interesting spin *cough* on a utilitarian classic.

LA Carmageddeon "Running on Empty"

The media-hyped Carmageddeon (a temporary closure of the 405 highway) happend in LA a few weeks ago. Much to everyone's surprise, the surrounding highways (the 101, 5, 10, 110) were completely traffic-free. It seems as if the road-clogging public actually heeded the CalTrans advice to stay off the streets, and it worked...it was quite surreal, almost like the short film above by Ross Ching.

Painting Reality

Back in 2010, a Dutch artist and a small crew of accomplices, temporarily transformed a busy Berlin intersection into a fascinating trail of traveled lines. Reminiscent of BMW's commission with artist Robin Rhode, the piece above utilized more than 500 liters of water-based paint.
